The Episcopal Chaplaincy at Boston University
Whether you’re a lifelong Episcopalian,
trying to find an open-minded church,
looking for a spiritual home,
or exploring your faith for the first time,
Episcopal BU welcomes you.
Come to share a meal, join in prayer,
meet new friends, or get involved in service.
We trust you will find a safe & open place to learn about a life of faith, ask big questions, and discover your part in God’s mission of healing this hurting world.
All people are included, loved and accepted
at the Episcopal Chaplaincy – no exceptions.
The Episcopal Chaplaincy at BU is a strategic ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and operates at Boston University under the auspices of Marsh Chapel
“The Episcopal Chaplaincy is the one constant in my life that I know I can turn to no matter what is going on. The chaplaincy welcomes everyone and cares about every single person, even if you are new. My favorite part of the chaplaincy is that you are able to escape from the craziness that is BU campus life for a few hours a week and just relax, have fun, create amazing friendships, experience things you would have never dreamed of experiencing, and grow closer to God.” - Maddy Ouye ’11, California
The chaplaincy means someone I can ask for prayer and help! No, that’s not enough. Just somebody being there as a chaplain is more than a feeling safe or asking a prayer. It is a real joy and gladness. Delicious warm free home cooked meal every Wednesday, praying for my health and whole life in USA. What could I ask or expect more!?
- Yun Jeong Seol, STH ’10, South Korea
